A story from the past (The bin-liner)

I'm 17 and I'm doing my foundation 2 year course in art college. One particular day on what i liked to call my extended lunch break myself and my dearest friend Migs walk down to town for some fun and general get away from education milarking. Seeing as where I lived at the time was Weston-super-mare A small town on the coast across from wales (just were the channel starts), It was always as windy as Terrance and Phillip's asses and the weather was usually stink. Well this particular day was no different. In a mad panic to our young minds not being prepared for the awful weather that we always have due to our youth full ignorance and laid backness we decide to go into Tesco. Whilst talking about how we used to come into Tesco to find the biggest object we could to put in someones shopping trolley to then hide and watch thier reaction and we chucckle away at their suprise to see a microwave ontop of their shopping- Migs has the bright idea of buying BIN-LINERS to keep us dry on the long walk back to college.

I decided to pay for the bin liners and then as soon as we got outside I fashioned myself a pair of trousers and a doubled up polo top as well as Migs had done.

Funny waltzing past all the public looking at usoddly as we couldn't have had a care less in our lives! We kept telling each other how the new formed uniforms were doing and all the good point about them and I recall Migs saying "yeah yeah, And I think they are good windbreakers too!" And i was like " yeah totally man, Why the hell did I ever buy a coat?!" Then half way along one of Migses music teachers pulled up on the road and was like "want a lift?". We looked at each other and were like 'hell yeah' Then as we got up to the car the teacher said to us in a 'I've dealt with strange things like this before' sort of tone "Sow..ergh, Whats with the bin bags then?" And as soon as that was said, All the good things we had said about the binliner wear were totally voided at the sheer fact of what twats we looked like wearing them.

We got to college then did no work.....AHHH the blissfulness of youth.
